NHS App 6.3.0

The NHS App provides a secure and user-friendly way to access a variety of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet. It is available for individuals aged 13 and above who are registered with an NHS GP surgery in England or the Isle of Man. Additionally, you can also access NHS App services through the NHS website on a computer.

Access NHS services

• With the NHS App, you can conveniently access NHS services at any time and from anywhere.
• You can request repeat prescriptions, use the 111 online service, find nearby NHS services, and more.
• Depending on your GP surgery, you may also be able to book appointments and contact your surgery regarding health concerns.

Manage your health

• The NHS App offers a convenient way to view your GP health record, including test results.
• You can manage upcoming appointments and prescription requests.
• In addition, you can make decisions about your health, such as your organ donation preference.

Receive messages

• Through the app, you can receive important messages from your GP surgery and other NHS services.
• Enabling notifications will keep you informed about new messages.

Manage services for other people

• Using the NHS App, you can switch profiles to access services for other people, such as a child or family member.
• To do so, you need to have access granted by your GP surgery and share the same surgery as the individual you're managing services for.

Log in securely

• If you don't already have an NHS login, the NHS App will guide you through the process of setting one up.
• During the setup process, you will need to verify your identity.
• Once logged in, the app securely connects to your NHS services.
• If your iPhone or iPad supports Touch ID or Face ID, you can conveniently use these features for quick and secure logins.
